Odd? What odd?
Hmm. Well that was almost a non-starter.
The people who -- effectively -- no one knew didn't show up, so I ended up sitting in the Steak&Shake with one person I didn't know, and one I'm getting to know. It was a great deal more fun than I'd expected to have this evening.
And I so should have gone ahead and suggested going to shoot pool somewhere, in spite of not knowing myself where we could go to do so. It was just way too early to call it an evening, especially having anticpated a lateish one.
Next time, I'll just grit my teeth and suggest.
Oh, and I had a free coke. The waiter decided that mine counted as one of their refills. That was fun.
So, yeah. So much for having a very odd weekend again. Of course, the weekend ain't over yet...
Garr, I need to get my brain together. Wait, no, I promised to try not to over-think. And trying to get my brain together is probably in that category. So it can wait.
