2004-03-13 - 1:51 a.m. So... um, yeah. :-) Ok, this was written in editpad while doing about ten other things. So forgive if it makes even less sense than usual for me. So, I actually left the IM window open "overnight." See, generally, I close all open IM windows when I set Trillian up to my sleeping away msg. Then anything new all ends up in sub-windows of the "away" container. (That, er, makes sense to Trillian users, at least. I hope.) I left the IM window open overnight, because I wanted to be able to reread some of what was said when I got up. Before I started getting ready to head out to Amici. And I wanted it just that quickly readable - not having to open up the log file and scan down. I might have not even closed it then, but Trillian errored on me, and I had to close and restart the program. (speaking of which, it's done that again. I can actually leave it running for a few hours with that error msg popped up, but it tends to annoy the heck out of me.) So. Uh, yeah. I don't even really know what to say. Tonight while chilling and listening to the people play, I turned out another stellar example of why I generally don't try to write a poem with a specific intent in mind. I'm still not exactly verbalizing well. Maybe it doesn't need verbalization. It just... is. I didn't call during work hours. I probably could've tried it - and maybe even gotten away with it - but I didn't. And then was driving the new beast - which isn't exactly quiet, and the window doesn't seal properly. And then it was past the point at which the phone would likely be answered. So now I'm considering hanging out online until possible IM-ness, just to chat. Mind you, I have brunch with Grandma scheduled tomorrow. I should get some sleep, since we're supposed to leave here at noon-thirty or something. *shakes head* Then again, I don't have to get to sleep yet. I could probably be up until about 4 and still not have a problem. Seeing it again; there's some new writers. Ones with interesting ideas. Ones with an evident love of complication. And they picked Minnesota.
